One of my favorite aspects of running Plymouth Photo Studio is the interaction of client and Photographer when shooting portraits. Getting to meet and listen to the stories of clients is most rewarding, hearing of their past sucess's and sometimes failures, coupeled with their details of their careers makes for an enjoyable interaction.

Portraits fall into many catagories, Business PR, Performers, Authors, Musicians, and personal portraits that can be used for the web or prints. When we know your uses we can craft a price. Pricing for portraits are dependant on the number or people in the shot, and with the amount of images shot. Prices include standard retouching and formating. Photos are shot with a digial camera, and can be viewed immediately after the shoot. Clients can pick the shots they prefer and the files can be emailed to relevent reciepents or a CD can be created with a nominal fee.
Photographic prints or ink jet prints of any size are available for a reasonable fee, please call with your ideas in mind and we can price a project to fit your budget and needs. Although walk-ins are acceptable please call in advance to secure an appointment.

Using a standard backdrop is not always necessary, different effects can be realized by combining elements into a composition that reflects the individual being photograhed. Here we have utilized icons from the Eithopian Orthodox church to create a portrait of one of it's priest.

During a PR session, many images rise above the average and can be saved for the clients use as they see fit. Variety of results gives the client the ability to fill many needs with one session, without repeated tries to achieve results.

During a portrait session, particularly with children, you can get many different faces of the same child and it's a shame not to display the eglictic nature of the child and the session. Compositions of multiple shots can be arranged into their own work of art.
